WRITING LIFE
Prior to committing to literary work I published articles on the Pilates Method for several health and fitness magazines and collaborated on writing training manuals.
I have written plays for a ‘Junior Theatre School’ and several children’s stories for five to eight year olds. I am midway through a historical novel and a volume of poetry is being prepared for publication in September 2022.
Sitting outside in nature has been one of my places to write. The grandeur of the kauri Tane Mahuta in Northland and Taketakerau the giant puriri in Opotiki are two notable taonga which have inspired my poetry.
